A New Title Joins the SCAMMED World Series

Dear reader,

There is something strangely satisfying about watching a story cross a border.

Not the author.
Not the character.
The story itself.

Today, another title joins the international world of SCAMMED:

SCAMMED: Dentro una trappola perfetta.

The Italian edition.

When I first wrote Sophia Rivas’s story, I wasn’t thinking about countries, languages or international editions. I was thinking about one woman, one carefully constructed deception, and the moment she realizes that the story she believed she was living was never the real story at all.

Then something unexpected happened.

SCAMMED began to travel.

English became German.
Then French.
Spanish followed.

And now, Italian.

Every translation has taught me something rather beautiful: a story changes language without necessarily changing its voice.

Sophia is still Sophia.

She still questions. She still pushes back. She still follows the details other people dismiss. And, eventually, she stops looking for the man and starts following something far more revealing.

The money.

Dentro una trappola perfetta now joins the growing international SCAMMED series, a story inspired by real events, crossing languages and borders much like the investigation at its heart.

And Italy feels particularly special.

Perhaps because Italian has a rhythm of its own. Perhaps because seeing Dentro una trappola perfetta on the page makes the story feel new again.

Or perhaps because every new language means Sophia gets to knock on another door.

And if you know Sophia by now, you know what happens next.

She knocks until somebody answers.

SCAMMED: Dentro una trappola perfetta
The Italian edition is now part of the SCAMMED world. 🇮🇹

One story. More languages. More borders. And we’re not finished yet.

Love,

the part of you that never left

Scammed: The Inside Story of a Perfect Trap explores this space, not as a distant story, but as something that unfolds step by step, often without being noticed until it’s too late.

Because the most dangerous systems are not the ones that look broken.

They are the ones that look perfect.
