Book II continues exactly where SCAMMED: The Inside Story of a Perfect Trap ended.

But this time, the story moves far beyond the scam itself.

The first book showed how an ordinary online connection can turn into a carefully constructed psychological trap. Book II begins with what happens afterwards.

Because escaping a scam does not mean the story is over.

The questions remain.
The money trail remains.
The people behind it remain.
And suddenly part of all institutions become part of the search for answers.

Sophia Rivas follows names, documents, digital traces and transactions across borders, trying to understand not only who was behind the fraud, but something much bigger:

How can so many institutions each handle one small part of a case, while nobody sees the whole picture?

That question is at the heart of Book II.


Why SCAMMED is now available in four languages

SCAMMED is inspired by real events, and the reality behind this kind of fraud is international.

Scammers do not think in borders.

Money can move from one country to another in seconds. Digital identities can be created anywhere. A victim may live in one country, the financial institution in another, the platform somewhere else, while the people behind the fraud operate from another part of the world entirely.

The story itself crossed borders.

So I decided the books should too.

And these four languages are only the beginning.

I want the series to reach readers across the globe, because the themes behind SCAMMED are not limited to one country or one culture.

Trust is universal.

Manipulation is universal.

The need for answers is universal.

And so is the frustration of discovering that a system can contain countless departments, procedures and responsible organisations, while somehow leaving the person at the centre of it all fighting alone to connect the dots.

That is why I chose to make the series accessible to a much wider international audience.

Not simply by translating words, but by bringing the same story, tension and emotional reality to readers in their own language.

And more languages will follow.

SCAMMED was never meant to be a story that stayed in one country.

The investigation crossed borders.

The system crossed borders.

The consequences crossed borders.

Now the books will too.
